Just a note to kept an eye out for a LuLa Roe fundraiser on February 9th and 10th! It is only 2 days and all the proceeds will go the Children's Miracle Network! No worries though, because I will remind you :)

My Sunday was spent in some of the most gorgeous gowns of Jovani at Dazzle Boutique! Congrats to Alyssa who will be going to NYFW and to all the girls who modeled beautifully! They have quite the selection at Dazzle so make an appointment and visit soon before all the new looks are taken!
Also, shout out to my supporting princess and growing friends who were there with big smiles in the audience! It made the experience that much more fun!

It's Building!

Congratulations to Jonet who is your new Miss Litchfield! Welcome to the Miss Connecticut Class of 2018! I had a blast watching a new sister join our family of 2018 and spending time with all girls already a part of it! Moreover, Miss Connecticut and Miss Connecticut's OT did a fabulous job as MC's and donated their fees to Huskython! It's all for the KIDS!

Comedy Night

25,150.00 Dollars. Holy Cow! This evening we broke fundraising records for both Tree House Comedy Productions and Homes for the Brave! It was an honor to participate in the efforts and the night ended up as a huge success! Homeless veterans are a large problem in CT and all the individuals who came out in support tonight are very appreciated as are the veteran comedians who entertained over dinner! Looking forward to continuing with the Homes for the Brave Organization and working for our military always!

The Class is Growing

Two more sisters joined the ranks of the Miss Connecticut Class of 2018 today! It is always such a joy to spend time with the Miss Connecticut family and to witness more girls joining it! Congrats to Savannah and Jenny on your new titles, I cannot wait to spend more time with you!

Um, Like, So, I had a Mock

Working on my diction and speech during my mock interview today was way more fun than I anticipated. I am counting my blessings that the team behind the Miss New Haven County and Miss Fairfield County Organization is so incredible and supportive. Interview skills are important in many aspects of life and put to use during almost every appearance! I am looking forward to challenging myself in future mock interviews!

Dodgeball and Sweat

Kicking off my first week back with a Healthtrax workout and our very own Miss Connecticut Eliza Kanner! We did bootcamp and then engaged in some fun dodgeball cardio!  Hope to see more people joining my fellow sisters :)

Winter Blessings

FUN IN THE SUN. That was the motto of my short winter break. I had the chance to road trip with my family and enjoy the warmth of Florida. I also had the chance to reconnect with college friends while south as well as spending the holidays with family. Moreover, I revisited Harry Potter World which may be one of my favorite places!

As I return from my adventures I am reminded to always cherish time with family and be thankful. I am excited to be heading back to Connecticut after a semester of 4.0 grades and can't wait to see what the new year brings!
